WASHERS RULES |
|
These rules are not meant to be
broken………..Greg Pines |
1. Boxes should be placed about 17ft apart(front
to front).
2. Player 1 throws all 4 washers, then
Player 2 throws all 4 washers.
3. Points are awarded as follows: 3pts for in the cup, 1 pt for in
the box, 2pts for a washer that lies on top of the
wall.
4. The player who scores the most points on each turn subtracts
their opponents score. (ex. Player 1 gets a washer in the cup worth 3 pts,
Player 2 gets 2 washers in the box worth 1 pt each totaling 2 pts. Therefore
Player 1 would get 3-2= 1 pt.)
5. The game ends after 15 pts.
6. “The Gold Ones” If a player throws a washer in the cup or
throws all 4 of their washers(which means all 5 if
they already have a “gold one”) in the box on a turn, they receive a “Gold
One”. They continue to play with an additional Gold washer each turn until the
other player earns one and takes it out of play. (Important. A “Gold One” does not ever
switch hands, it has to come out of play, then be
earned again before the other player can have one. A player may have 2 “Gold
One’s, but 2 players may never each have one.)
7. If you accidently hand your opponent a “gold one” while you are
picking them up after a turn, they may throw it for that turn only……see glossary
